Junction 31 is the last junction before the Dartford Crossing, on the A282, with the A1306 and the A1090 for West Thurrock, Purfleet and Lakeside. Thurrock Services is under a mile north. Purfleet station is about a mile and a half west.

Junction 31 is the first one off after the Dartford Crossing heading north, the turn for Lakeside, West Thurrock and Purfleet. Shoppers, port workers and people crossing the river can check the junction and the crossing here before they travel.

Crossing the river? The Dartford Crossing is the bridge southbound and the tunnels northbound, and you pay the Dart Charge online, not at a barrier.
