Junction 5 at Chevening is where the M26 leaves for Wrotham and the M20, and the A21 heads south for Sevenoaks, about two and a half miles away. Chevening, Chipstead and Dunton Green are beside it. Dunton Green station is about a mile and a half east.

Sevenoaks commuters, drivers joining the M26 towards the M20, and visitors to the villages around Chevening all meet at Junction 5.
