Junction 7 at Merstham is where the M23 leaves for Gatwick Airport and Brighton. It is motorway-to-motorway only, so you cannot leave for local roads here. Merstham is beside it and Redhill about two and a half miles south-west. Reigate Fort is about three and a half miles west.
