How Fast the M25 Is Moving Today

Our live M25 speed map shows every stretch in both directions, coloured by how fast traffic is moving, and refreshes every five minutes. On a road as long as the M25, it is the quickest way to see whether the clockwise or the anticlockwise way round will get you there sooner. The M25 speed limits now page shows where the overhead signals have lowered the limit, often the first sign of a queue, and the overhead signs page shows every message drivers are seeing.

    Today’s Weather on the M25

Rain, spray, fog and frost all change how the M25 behaves today, and how long it takes to stop. Our M25 weather page has today’s weather at junctions around the motorway, with each junction’s hour-by-hour forecast a tap away, and any Met Office warnings in force today. Strong wind matters most at the Dartford Crossing, where the QE2 Bridge can close.

    Today’s Traffic Trend

How has traffic on the M25 moved so far today? Our M25 traffic trends for today show today’s slowest hours and stretches, hour by hour, against the same day last week and against the usual speed for each hour, so you can see whether the M25 is busier or quieter than normal today and pick the best time to travel.
