    The main source of our roadworks information is Traffic England, formally the Highways Agency, which is the government department specifically tasked with maintaining England's roads. This is therefore usually one of the most reliable sources of roadworks updates.

    Each roadworks report has:

    • Summary

    The roadworks update title is a brief summary of main facts.

    The remainder of the report is the detail of when the report was released or updated and details of what the roadworks are, where they are, and how long they are expected to last.

    How any accidents on the M25 are affecting speed of traffic flow

    M25 Traffic now features real time traffic flow information from Google maps which will show how current accidents are slowing traffic speed.

    Using the traffic flow map in conjunction with our traffic news helps to gauge the affect any accidents on the M25 are slowing down traffic.

    We see reports of accidents on the M25 most days. Our aim is to feature all the current accident reports from Traffic England as soon as they are reported.
